Sizanani Community Centre

 

 

  Story 4: Attached is the one of the pictures which were taken when Sizanani Community Centre received funds from a nearby local business to help boost it so it can continue assisting the people. These were funds given as a donation so they can be used in different departments to close any gaps which are there to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

  Story 3: Sizanani Community Centre also assists with giving people an access to computers and the free internet so that they are able to search for jobs, internships, bursaries, etc and be able to apply especially the youth as shown in the picture below a room with a few of these computers where some of the dreams of the people of the community get fulfilled.

  Story 2: Sizanani Community Centre works hard to get vegetable plants as donations from various companies and works with the people of the community in planting and growing these veggies so the people involved can be able to sell them and make a living as well as be able to support their families from those veggies. Attached is a picture showing one of the sides where the vegetables have been planted and have grown.

Story 1: Sizanani Community Centre has worked hard for the past 12 years in ensuring that the people of its community use the skills they have to make something out of the little they give so they can sell and be able to make a living. They also offer assistance to the youth to access the internet through their technological resources to ensure they are able to search for available opportunities from jobs, internships, learnerships, etc ensuring they make a difference in the lives of the people of the community and they get better hence in the below picture it is shown that they’re hard work is recognised as they received an award of being the NPO of the year in the local community from the municipality as a token of appreciation for all the hard work they do.
